Treetop Ministries, the Preschool Ministry of Calvary Baptist Church, exists to create a place where preschoolers feel loved, they have fun, and most importantly, a place where they can get a closer look at Jesus Christ in a safe environment.
Our desire in Treetop Ministries is that your child will get a closer look at Jesus and better understand His love. Just like Zaccheus climbed to the top of the tree to see Jesus better, that is what we desire.
In the NEST, our younger preschool suite, we offer caring and loving ChildCare that will share the love of Jesus with each and every child, whether they are a 6 week old child or a 2 year old toddler. The verse that will define the NEST is:
“Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet for the nations – that’s what I had in mind for you.” – Jeremiah 1:5
In the TREEHOUSE, our older preschool suite, we offer exciting and fun activities, music, and Bible teaching that will give preschoolers a foundational understanding of who God is. The verse that will shape the TREEHOUSE is found in Isaiah 61.3, that reads:
“Rename them ‘Oaks of Righteousness’ planted by God to display his glory.” - Isaiah 61:3
Our hope for each preschooler is that they will come excited about what God is going to teach them, and leave with a better understanding of how much God loves them.
At 9:45, Sunday Mornings, all preschoolers, ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, will be placed in classrooms with children the same age, where they will have Bible study, play time, craft time, music, and snack, all that will help them better understand Jesus Christ.
WorshipCare is provided during the 8:25 and 11:05 worship services. This is for ages 6 weeks through 5 years old, and includes age appropriate free play, Bible stories, crafts, and a snack.
ChildCare is for those preschoolers that are not able to participate in the Sunday or Wednesday Night activities. We have responsible and caring workers that will love on and care for your 6 week old through 2 years old.
